question:

How do I prevent a sticky floor?

answer:

By spraying Oliefris very thin and well divided with the floorpad. Make sure you dry rub the floor.
Work in sections (approximately 8 square meters at a time) to prevent walking on damp Oliefris which creates footprints. After rubbing the floor dry, allow the floor to dry for 1 to 2 hours depending on temperature and relative humidity. Rule of thumb: the higher the relative humidity the longer the drying time.

question:

What is the recommended relative humidity in a healthy environment for wood floors?

answer:

Between the 50 and 55%. Ask your supplier for his range of hygrometers, with which you can easily measure the relative humidity. Available in several wall mounted and standing models.
A humidifier could be needed during the colder (winter) months when the relative humidity drops. For best results, install the humidifier correctly and turn it on long before the heating is turned on.
